Online registration for the EASR 2018 conference is open now.
The registration page is accessed via ConfTool. Log-in to ConfTool with your account user name and password or create a new account, then select “Register as Participant”. Or directly click here to log-in and start the registration. Online registration will close on 31 May.

Canceling the registration
In case you have to cancel your registration, you wil get 80% of your paid fee back if you cancel by 17 May. In all other cases, the financial responsibilities of the participants remain fully effective. Please note that for organizational and bookkeeping reasons, all refunding will be processed after the conference, end of June 2018.

The fee includes Welcome Reception, Bern Ticket, conference attendance, lunches, coffee breaks, Bern tour and child care. Optional activities will be charged extra. For more details, have a look at Services & Events.
Bursaries and fee reduction
The EASR is granting a number of bursaries to attend the EASR conference 2018 in Bern. The bursaries are meant for participants who present a paper at the conference but are not able to cover the costs of travel, accommodation, and registration fee. Candidates have to be members of a paid-up association affiliated to the EASR or paid-up individual members. Deadline is 15 March 2018. Contributors to the EASR conference in Bern who are members of the Deutsche Vereinigung für Religionswissenschaft e.V. (DVRW) can apply for travel grants at the DVRW until 1 March. More information are available on the website of the DVRW.

As organizers of the EASR conference 2018, we have offered a limited number of reduced conference fees to conference contributors and EASR / IAHR officials in financially disadvantaged situations.
The deadline to apply for a reduced fee has expired on 15 March.
We still offer reduced student fees to undergraduate or graduate students without university employment.
To apply for a student fee, please contact us and provide:
- your full name, affiliation/organization and country
- a short confirmation that you do not have a university employment (or if you do, please explain)
- a scan of your student ID/card or enrolment confirmation (there must be a valid date on it!)
